I prefer pioneer, if you are gonna get the pioneer get the 900bt, the 700bt does not play dvd. I have owned maybe 6 pioneer head units and only had problems with one but i love the parametrice eq.

Is there a Nav version of this? It looks REALLY factory - very nice, especially the ability to select red backlighting (for us Bonne owners). I was thinking of doing the GM/Delphi TNR800 for a factory look, but that requires extensive modification to get the red backlighting.

did you save the old harness or did you cut the wires to short to rewire it, if you still have you can rewire it or just follow the leads as they would connect to the harness.

Yeah thats what the red spst switch is for, you for that series you dont have to run it the parking break you can just gound it and the switch works great.

My Pioneer used to do the same exact thing. Then, I sold it. The buzzing never happened until I set up an aftermarket amp. Until then, it was clean and clear. You should get a little thingie that grounds to your chassis and has an RCA in/out set of connectors. That helped minimize my buzzing to a ...

you can buy an adapter from crutchfield for the steering wheel controls if you want to use and aftermarket H/U depending on which one it is.

I will tell you to be ready for some issues one you do go HID, I had to wire a resistor to get them to both kick on at the same time. The care sends more than the ballast needs so do your research.
