Re: 2000 Pontiac Bonneville ssei intermittent stall, need he
Bri, not sure if you still have that problem, or the car for that matter, but the problem you experienced sounds a lot like the one I had a few years ago. It turned out to be a faulty connector wire to the fuel pump, the one that comes down from the fuel pump and connects to the wiring harness ...

Replacing Air bag on wheel -- What bolt heads?
I am assuming that to remove the driver air bag unit (this one already deployed) there are bolts tucked into the holes in the back half of the steering wheel. I can't see what kind they are, even with a mirror.

Re: Anyone familiar with exhaust?
My downpipe has developed a rattle most noticeable on start-ups and remains loud until the engine has fully warmed up. Annoying. My cousin who is a muffler shop owner explained to me that the rattle is the inner sleeve of the stock down pipe that has rusted loose.

Re: Sudden hard shifting transmission
My hard shifts never came back after installing a 180 thermostat and a tuned pcm that runs your radiator fans properly. That was several years ago. No more heat soaking, no more shift banging.

Re: Rattle in the Rear End
Old yes, but it is the only post on this entire forum that solves an irritating loud clunk and rattle every time your rear end goes over the slightest bump or pot hole. Everyone here immediately (as I did) fixates on shocks and shock mounts as the culprit. Lots of money has been spent tryng to nail ...

Great to see that you are still helping so many 00Beast. A special cheers goes out to you for your valuable assistance.
is the front one more likely needing replacement?
Or definitely do both? Seems a less expensive route than having the shop test the existing ones..lol

Car Sat For a Year -- Best steps to revive?
I'm going to put my car back on the road after a 12 month sit w/o a battery in the driveway. I'm getting a number of regular things done before cranking her over plus a few upgrades:
Regular stuff
oil change,
new K&N 9" cone filter (trust me its due)

Re: Rattle in the Rear End
After almost a year off and on of trying to find a rattle at low speed going over bumps I finally found the problem. I replaced the shocks, new shock mounts, and even replaced the left torsion bar to no avail. Finaly I discoverd that one of the body mounts under the rear door had somehow rusted ...

Re: Clunk in the trunk
I replaced the shocks and mounts twice. Nope, it was lose body mount bolts. A 30 cent thicker washer placed on them eliminated the clunk for good. I cringed about that clunk for two years. Search for body mount bolt or click on this link

Aluminized or Stainless Steel 3" Downpipe
I'm about to order the 3" DP from ZZP and wondered whether I should go with the aluminized or with the stainless steel for the extra $50 bucks. Is there really any difference in terms of longevity, looks, installation or performance?

So I have replaced everything as stated in the common issues sticky for this problem (replaced plugs, wires, coils, and ICM) and it's still there. Any suggestions what this could be would be great.

Re: service stabilty system?
FWIW my front struts are weak enough from so much mileage that any unusual combination of manouvers will set off the service stability warning - like ramping off the end of my driving and turning at the same time. I think a good wind gust from the side once set it off - lol.

Re: Front end shimmy due to wheel manufacturing defects
If you have or have had the front end shimmy, has anyone just simply replaced the wheels with aftermarket wheels, with new tires with a good balancing job and front end alignment, and that resulted in absolutely no improvement in the shimmy?
