So TransGo or Intense or Thrasher?
And if TransGo, where from? Saw them on eBay for around $63 shipped.

I do like that the Intense one comes with the filter but not to the toon of an extra $30+.

I believe you can make your own for under $25, including filter -talk to Larz01 as I know he made his own for dirt cheap.

If you can get the Trans-Go for $63, I'd do that, then get a filter at a local parts vendor.

I'm still not convinced that's as good as one of the other shift kits Marty.

I have the Intense Kit and am happy w/ it, but I've heard the Trans-Go is very similar. The only thing is that there is one spring that's supposed to go in the side pan on the Trans-Go, but it's not worth dropping the side-pan for it. Some toss it, some throw it in the accumulators (not sure which). I know LeSabre in Buffalo did a good write up on it. Search it.

TransGo. Then the shifts will be faster and smoother. I threw the additional spring into the 1-2 shift accumulator.

I did the $5 DIY kit for 10k miles, then ditched it in favor of the TransGo. The differences are that the TransGo includes springs that replace your worn-out accumulator springs. My 1-2 accumulator had a bright spot on it from where it was hitting the spacer in the DIY shift kit.

$63 is a good price if it includes shipping.

Well I know that larz says to go to the dealer and get a 2-3 spring and put it into the 1-2 accumulator along w/ the spacers, but I still believe that the actual shift kit springs have different/better rates for both. Trans-Go is the go-to source for shift kits for every automatic transmission on the planet.

Call intense & ask them abut both kits & their diffrences. That's what I did & they were very helpful. I ended up buying the intense kit, and they had a incomplete trans go kit so they got me the extra parts I needed out fo that one, so I have both kits in my tranny.
