rust next to gas door
I have heard Bonnevilles are prone to rust right under the gas door. One of the guys at
Intense told me there is some sound deading material inside there that gets wet and will rust thru.
Can that meterial be taken out and how much of a job is it to repair the holes once it has rusted thru?

Re: gas gauge
During the day when it is really hot the needle goes all over the gauge. In the evening after it has cooled down the needle is steady
as can be and reads correctly.

I have a rear speaker going bad. Is there a good after market set I could replace the factory ones with?
I wouldlike to keep the cost below a $100.00 if I could.

Do the rear brakes adjust when you back up or when you set emergency brake? I have been driving for ever and should know this
but I have forgotten a lot

cleaning wax off vinyl
How do you clean wax off of rubber or black vinyl bumper ends
where there is paint and any other finish you don't want to
get wax on? I hope you understand what I am asking. I don't know how else to
ask it.

Re: oil sending unit
Will very much oil leak as I am putting in the new sending unit? And by the way ,I can get a AC Delco for $60.00
at Advance Auto parts. They have another brand for 40. I think I will go with the Delco. I might do the job tomorrow
so if somebody could get back to me tonight I appreciate.

oil sending unit
I know it's been covered before but I don't know where to find the answer.
My oil sending unit is pegged at 120. From what I have seen here
that means the unit is bad. Is one brand any better then the other?
And it sounds as if it a pretty simple fix.

Has anyone tried to install a true duel exhaust system on a Bonneville SSEi?
I mean one that runs from the engine all the back to the back bumper.

I have only used Mobil 1 in my 2000 SSEi. I can't remember what oil filter
I put on the last time I changed it. Can anyone tell me what filter would be a good one to use?
I know this has been covered before but could someone refresh my memory.
I have 85000 miles one the car.

It's all mine
5 and a half years ago my son bought the 2000SSEi that I am driving.
He decided he wasn't a 4 door kind of guy. He told me if I would make the payments I could have
the car. I said sure. Today, July 27th I just made the last one. It's all mine. I will get the
title transfered as soon as I have it ...

I used a new quick detailer on my 2000 SSEi today. It is called Ice by Turtle Wax. The color of the car
is either Dark Blue Metalic or Midnight Blue. I'm not sure what the color is called but it is dark blue and Ice brings out the metal flake a lot. It is a better shine then Quick Detailer by ...

Re: shift kit
The only mod I have is the pulley. The reason for the shift kit is to get rid of
the shift problem I have. It worked for one of the other Bonneville owners. Is there a brand of shift kit I should look
or will any of them be ok?
