Re: 1997 Bonneville Carpets SOAKED!!!!

Ok I have tried soaking the seals twice. The passenger side rear is still leaking like a ship.

Where can I get replacement seals as I would like to do all 4 including the trunk.

No rust, sun roof drains are clear only the door seals are leaking.

Please help

Re: 1997 Bonneville Carpets SOAKED!!!!

Ok Guys I am still at a loss for water leaks.

I seem to have fixed the Drivers/Passenger front doors by soaking them in hot water- turned up my water heater to get them nice and pliable.

The Passenger side rear is still leaking into the floor board, the trunk was wet this morning also after a ...

I am having the same issue with my 97 SSEi
On high the air barely flows out- I did the core cleaning task twice with no difference
I have replaced the blower, blower cover, blower hose and resistor pack

On another note the air from the two drivers side vents are cold but the two passenger side ...

97 SSEi Tuneup

I am in dire need of a tuneup but do not trust anyone around here including the local Chevy dealer who RECENTLY I went to for an oil change and did not tighten the oil filter. I headed off on a 800 mile trip right after the oil change only to have a huge puddle under car the next morning.

What do ...

Re: Code: P0440?

There are no codes being generated with my issue- Just huge amounts of pressure when opening the cap.

I have started leaving the cap slightly loose as in Fla it gets hot out- Don't need any KABOOMS

Re: 1997 Bonneville Carpets SOAKED!!!!

It is not the sunroof- Water is coming from the front drivers and passenger side door seals.

I tried soaking them in hotwater and this did very litter. Does anyone know where I can get the Door and Trunk seals to replace or will I have to cut to fit ?

Re: Code: P0440?

My 97 SSEi is doing the same thing with the air pressure escaping when opening the fuel cap.

Does anyone have the schematics for the Evap system or where I should look for the problems.

Re: Replacement Carpet

Years of kids in back seat- Carpet is shredded even with mats down. Who knows all I really need to do is have drivers seat leather fixed and carpet, door seals and she is ready to roll again.

Re: 1997 SSEi Blower Motor

I have removed the blower and checked it, checked the connector- When the blower is not working there is no voltage at the blower.

Its seems the only thing wrong with the car is the blower, knocks on wood-

For 260k + miles she runs like a top.

Re: 1997 SSEi Blower Motor

The vaccum hose was cracked just before entering the firewall on the passenger side- FIXED air stays on when accelerating.

Got Alternator and Battery checked- 100% no issue.

I have discovered that if the Blower does not come on after starting car opening and closing the drivers side door will ...

Having an issue I can not solve.

3 out 4 times of driving the car the blower motor will not come on, if you leave it on after about 20minutes of driving it will start working. I have checked all the connections I can find with no luck.

ALSO when accelerating the Main vents stop blowing air and ...
