So I looked into the little ballast things & were nearly 15 bucks so with some quick splice connectors here at home I just added 2 more bulbs with a total of 4 plate lights that shut the DIC indicator right up! Just savin money that way

So I decided I wanted to go with L.E.D license plate lights... Headache... Looks great outside but not so much on the inside in the Info Center (Tail Lamp) notification almost thinking on splicing in two more 194 bases for the incandescent bulbs just to hide behind the bumper so the L.E.D's can ...

I only use SILVERSTAR'S to this day! I love them lots wet or dry & great in snow $20 a piece worthy of the extra bucks!!! My 880 fogs just pooped but replacing soon...

Hey guys it has been a while since I've have done anything with the Bonneville... I finally got an transmission & exhaust manifold & I realized it did not have gaskets arn't exhaust manifolds supposed to have gaskets??? Weird?

Yeah it broke & I hammered it 5 miles home leaving a streak of death all the way there.. It wont move again!!! It's DEAD!!! The Transmission dipstick tube had smoke coming out!!!

Transmission Removal?
Hey guys my transmission broke and I need to replace it... Is it easier to pull the motor and transmission or does the transmission come out by itself underneath?

Yeah true that lol It did shift sloppy and rocked back & forth bad just driving it normal but if u got on it hard it didn't so much till u let off and u could feel it drop back into its place... I think the right side motor mount is weak too but sounds like I have a bigger fish to fry... I'll do my ...

I put so of the lucas in the truck & car last summer for hard shifts but was the dog bone mount & front trans mounts were both shot...

Checked all fuses, Not Flashing Codes, I posted & Let cool It just drove strong to town & back again & didn't do it this time so weird... Could a Torque Converter Go bad like heats up stop working hot but then work again cooled? I had a OLD friend with a 93 and his would drive like 3 miles tops get ...

Today I backed out of the barn no problem to the street and felt fine but wouldn't move forward till like 1900-2500rpms... :bluetwitch: Well I got the tank back in and I just put a half a gallon of gas in and it fired right up and seems like my fuel gauge is working better too I used a Q-tip and cleaned off the sending unit and also checked it with a volt meter and Hoot Hoot I'm back to driving... Well I got the gas tank dropped and sure enough the strainer sittin at the bottom of the tank however there are some cracking along the sides of the tank but is not really bad they're not fully broken yet... There has got to be a better way to connect that strainer to the pump... That lil nipple ...

I never Bottomed out but I did see signs of cracking inside when I had the pump out so I will keep that idea in Mind... I sure hope not I really can't afford that now... I have it in the Barn now going to get it out & see whats going on in the tank then

Well about 3 months not ago I crossed a set of bad RxR tracks and had a full tank... Well after a few more miles it got 1/4 and won't pick up the last of the fuel in the tank... Well I got the idea and got a lil zippo fluid and the goo came right off with a Costco card... I washed and then waxed the affected areas and figured she don't seem bad looking Debadged... In fact I think it looks even more stealthy Keep the Rear on trunk & loose the door ones? Opinions?

Thanks 4 the move I should have known better lol... I was thinking on the tape too but afraid will look funny with strips of tape between the letters... Maybe I can razor blade the excessive off... Would an Epoxy work for a (Plan B) ? I just hate to loose it on the road I feel super lucky I seen it ...

Door Badging fell off...
Well crud, Went out to the car today & the SSE Badging fell off the passenger door... Luckily I found it laying on the ground... Happy Birthday 2 me lol... What should I use to put it back on good Besides Superglue lol... I'd like to get the rest of the glue off too without ruining the paint ...

So I just replaced the trans mount and well it still clunks but not as bad... It almost seams that the exhaust pipe flange off the manifold might be popping with the rock of the motor...

Thankyou I removed the filler neck off tank worked good... Still harder that heck to get the gas out or at least get that hose down! I can at least get the tank out and get into town in my truck...
