So I decided I wanted to go with L.E.D license plate lights... Headache... Looks great outside but not so much on the inside in the Info Center (Tail Lamp) notification almost thinking on splicing in two more 194 bases for the incandescent bulbs just to hide behind the bumper so the L.E.D's can shine... Looking for brightness not worried about power use at this point & I don't want to use ballast resistors ... Any Ideas Thanks....
Can You See The Difference In Bulbs???
NOTE: The right one is a Silverstar (194ST) not a normal still icky!!!

If you are willing to stick 194 bulbs behind the license plate, then why not use the ballast resistors to shut up the DIC? I just have this vision of stuff melting behind the license plate.

1993 Buick Park Avenue - 197k - Some odds and ends done - Simply won't die
1994 Buick Regal - 78k - Bone stock - Always ready for a good kicking
1990 Oldsmobile 88 - Gone to a better place
So I looked into the little ballast things & were nearly 15 bucks so with some quick splice connectors here at home I just added 2 more bulbs with a total of 4 plate lights that shut the DIC indicator right up! Just savin money that way
