Good afternoon all,
Over the winter I was gifted with a remote start system for my birthday/Christmas. :bwoohoo:
It functions just fine and hasn't had any problems.
I do have one question though. It'll start my car just fine, but it doesn't turn on my electronic climate control. So the engine ...

Re: Powerstop or Brakemotive
I have used both and have no complaints, but the Powerstop set seems to be holding up better without rusting. Also, last I knew, Brakemotive no longer made a kit for the SSEi.
Which set Powerstop set up did you use? z23 or z26? I checked out Brakemotive last night and they do still have kits for ...

Powerstop or Brakemotive
Hey everyone.
I need to replace my brakes asap and I'm torn between which Brakemotive and Power Stop for my options. These 2 seem to be most bang for your buck options. I'm in the Chicago area so I'm leaning towards Brakemotive. I plan on doing pads and rotors all the way around.

Thanks for all of the input everyone!
I'd really like to put some HIR bulbs in my lows, but I want to know the most reliable place to get the true HIRs as opposed to the "new" HIR design, which I've heard doesn't have the same output as the originals.

I love the look and output of your set up!
I'm seriously considering installing a set in my '00 SSEi. I see that you noted using the Type-S lights. What's the difference between the Type-S and Type-T?

What can I do to get the most out of my fog lights?
I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I've searched around and haven't found much on the topic.
The subject pretty much sums it up. I've got one good fog light bulb and one that's burned out.
What can I do to safely get more light output from these puppies? If there's anything I can ...

They look sharp both in the day and night shots!
How well do the projectors work for providing light driving down the road? I'm interested in doing something with mine so that I've got something relatively functional down there rather than just stock lights...

Welcome! What part of IL are you from?
I'm in the Rockford area. What about you?
Would this happen to be the car in question? Just a shot in the dark... http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/forum/for-sale-or-trade/topic36874.html

I've gained a ton of knowledge from this thread and agree that it should be a sticky or in the Tech area. Thank you so much to everyone!

Re: Remote Start...
Hey @comatoast! I'd like to get the same system or something very similar to that put into my Bonneville that you have in your car(s). Particularly the smartstart system. What has your experience with that been? And like everyone else, I'm leery of having BB install. I've had good luck with them in ...

Re: HIDs LEDs and Remote Start
Hey guys, I'm curious if you've gone any further with your modifications.
@yourgrandma, are the fogs you have installed a complete retrofit or did you purchase projector fogs and design your own rings to put around them? And do you know anything about the SmartStart feature offered by Viper? I'm ...

Remote start questions
I'm looking into getting a remote start system for my Bonnie and I think I'll probably go with a Viper system.
Any recommendations on which Viper systems you've had good/bad experiences with would be greatly appreciated. I'm also contemplating getting their SmartStart system installed so I won't ...

Second time Bonneville owner from Illinois
Hello everyone!
I just got my second Bonneville last week! I'm very happy to be the new buyer of a 2000 SSEi with just under 80k on her. My first Bonnie was a base model from 92. I've loved the Bonneville platform since the very beginning and have been dying to get back into one. When my Monte ...
