Hoping somebody can give me some clues as to what to check for. My gas, oil, temp boost gages just up and quit working. Also, the driver info board and the trip destinantion board no longer show up. Only thing still working is my spedometer and rpm meter. Have checked the fuses, they are fine. Any heads up would be great!

I could be wrong on this but...there is two plugs going to the back of the IC. maybe one just unplugged itself.

Not to hard to remove a cluster, about a 3 or 4 in difficulty.

Those connectors dont unplug themselves. Its probably either a grounding or connection issue. Pull the cluster out and check the connections. Clean them as necessary. If they look ok, check the ground busses under the drivers door trim panel on the floor for corrosion.

Do the 2000+ still have the ground busses at the bottom front of each door like the 1992-1999 models? I had wondered if that changed with the change in base for the H-body.

Same location, just mounted higher up on the door frame.

Just thought Id let everyone know who gave advice on my topic that the problem is fixed. Checked the ground bus first, they were fine. Tore the dash apart and found the plug that went into the gages to be corroded. Cleaned them up and everything is back working again. Thanks all appreciate the helpful info you were able to give. Would not have gotten them back working again without your help. This is a wonderful site.

Well, my luck didnt last to long. Got in the car this am for work, gages worked, and trip board worked, but not driver info board. After work, nothing worked again. The gages and driver info board are not working again. Guess its back to the drawing board again. Any suggestions?

I guess the question is, how well did you clean them? Could they have been better?

Thought I cleaned them really well. Heres the strange thing....worked yesterday am on way to work, didnt work after I got off work. This am, went out to go to work, all gages worked. Today after work, nothing again. Have errands to run after dinner, will see what happens then. Im totally puzzled.

i had this same problem with my old 92 SSE. i ended up having to replace the board from a donor cluster. i found one that had similar mileage cuz the board retains mileage on it. that solved it. never had the problem again
