Disclaimer: I am NOT condoning, recommending, or endorsing any of the things I am about to ask or propose for discussion.

Just out of pure curiosity, so many people spend LOTS of time detailing under the hood, painting pieces, polishing, modifying etc it got me to wondering... has anyone gone to the insane length as to actually modify the wiring harnesses to clean up the tangled rats nest in the engine bay?

Now, that being said, there are a whole host of horrific and apocalyptic scenarios that could ensue following any attempt to do this by a mere mortal.

Just curious though because in a perfect world these engines could look so much prettier.

I think only Mike, 95naSTA has done this on his insane '95 SLE. His is not complete yet, but I believe will be soon. Other then him, I don't know of anyone else that has done an engine wire harness tuck yet here.

x2 :withstupid: Mike is the only one I can think of that has done this. If I didn't hate doing electrical stuff, I might have been doing this over the last few months while the engine/trans were out. It looks amazing when it's done right though. I'll just be relooming things since the plastic wire loom has become brittle and is falling apart.
