My transmission died in my '95 Buick Park Avenue (OBD 1.5). I have a low mileage 4t60e in my garage however it is from a 96 Bonneville (OBD II). I know there were some internal Differential Spline differences between 95' and 96 (Fine cut Reverse Pitch in '95 and Fine cut Forward Pitch in '96)

My main question is are the electronics compatible from '95 to '96...

No, 95 is a one year only transmission unfortunately.

I have read multiple times that there were differences almost every year between 94-97 but the electronics were all compatible.. Ugh. So much conflicting info..

I know how you feel. I'm currently in this exact same situation, except I'm trying to see if a 1995 4T60-E will function as intended in a 1996.
