harmonic balancer from hell

Talk about the other 3800 powered GM cars, particularly for items not covered in other sections that may be unique to your year/model, and differ from a Bonneville.

That should be the old LG3 3.8, and I believe those just slid right off.

Corrosion may be what is setting you back.

If the rubber between the inner and outer hubs is solid, and it didn't wobble before you took it off, I'd put it back on. Why did you take it off?

Only the '86 solid balancer slides off without a puller (despite how they should come off). Replacements should have the three access holes for the balancer puller bolts. If you did any damage to it in the process of pulling it off it should be replaced.
