Hydrographic printing, very cool stuff! I just wish they had a tighter carbon fiber pattern, most that I see are very large weaves and don't look that good.

IIRC, about 20 years ago, Chrysler, Ditzler, Daimler-Benz, and MAACO were working on "painting" body panels with sheets of plastic. If the "paint" was damaged, you just pealed off the "old paint" and put on a new "coat" of "paint". A heat gun was to be used to manipulate the sheets of plastic used to cover the body panels. I don't know whatever became of the project. I believe the majority of the work was done in Europe. It was probably canceled in 2007 or 2008 because of the economic turmoil. - BC

It really is, just for kicks id like to find out how much it costs to apply. If I bought a new car you can be sure id like to have it applied I was thinking how come dealers are hawking this as an add on option the product would sell its self with a simple demo its that amazing. Then remembered they once quoted me 900 bucks to touch up a one inch scratch.....
