The wife put her foot down, again for the umpteenth time, only I had to make the call to LKQ this afternoon. I'm getting a whole $215 for her. She is scheduled to be picked up at 1:30PM Tuesday, January 26th.
Thanks to a "mechanic" that got the car to pass emissions, also only finger tightened the TB nuts. As a consequence, she ate coolant for about 45 days before I figured out there was a problem.

This car was the wife's car from the time we bought it, Thanksgiving 1991 until we bought an S10 Pickup April 1994. We had two vehicles until 2003 when the wife gave her truck to the youngest son. We had one vehicle until I bought her a 2009 CTS August 2008. We've had a 2011 and 2013 CTS since then. I bought my '05 SE August 2014 and I love it, but I'll always want that 92 SSE.
Tuesday will be a sad day for me, but I'll never be able to get it going again any way, so at least, well hopefully at least, it'll keep another Bonneville "living".
