Here is what they look like.

Back in the stone ages, the cars I and my parents had that were quad-headlight, low beams 2 lamps light, high beams 4 lamps light. That was late 50's early 60's. By 1969, even with quad light systems, only 2 at a time were light, that is IIRC. - BCCMNTMXR57 wrote:ALL GM vehicles with dual bulb lights (I.E. 9006 & 9005 setups), that AREN'T a low beam HID, turn off the lows (and fogs if so equipped), when the highs are activated.nos4blood70 wrote:The GXP turns off its low beams when you turn on the high beams. It's a Federal limit on lumen output that makes them do that. The only reason low beam HID's are exempt is because if they turned them off when highs are activated, and they go for a long time with the highs on, then switch back to lows, the HID's have to re-warm again. So the driver is temporarily in the dark until the bulbs are back up to full strength.

My SE was quad beams with highs on with the original harness and still quad beam highs with the '04 SLE harness.CMNTMXR57 wrote:ALL GM vehicles with dual bulb lights (I.E. 9006 & 9005 setups), that AREN'T a low beam HID, turn off the lows (and fogs if so equipped), when the highs are activated.nos4blood70 wrote:The GXP turns off its low beams when you turn on the high beams. Meaning, which ever one has the ground is the set of lights that are going to be on. NOT both at the same time. With the headlamp switch in the ON position, a ground path is available for the headlamp switch headlamps on signal circuit of the DIM through the headlamp switch. The DIM provides ground to either the headlamp low beam relay control circuit or the headlamp high beam relay control circuit. The position of the headlamp dimmer switch determines which relay control has ground.

HIGH BEAM HEADLAMPS
The DIM supplies battery positive voltage to the HDLP Hi BM relay coil when the headlamps or park lamps need to be on or when the ignition switch is in ON position. Battery positive voltage (B+) is always supplied to the HDLP HI BM relay switch through the underhood fuse block. When the low beam headlamps are on as described above and then the headlamp dimmer switch is placed in the high beam position, the HDLP HI BM relay coil is grounded. The coil is energized closing the switch contacts. This supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the HDHIBML Fuse and HDHIBMR Fuse. HDHIBML Fuse supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the LH high beam headlamp. HDHIBMR Fuse supplies battery positive voltage (B+) to the RH high beam headlamp. The RH high beam headlamp is permanently grounded. The LH high beam headlamp is grounded through the DRL Relay when not energized. Both high beam headlamps have power and ground, and then light.

USPS gave me an online quote about $45. You can try and find a quote. It'd be shipped from 49534 package weight about 21pounds.Tsimms55 wrote:They look great, sounds like a great deal... Anyway you could give me a shipping quote to South Dakota 57106?
