This was such a fun weekend! Super laid back, but that didn't take away from any of the fun or great conversations!

How many figure Matt will have his Bonneville converted to manual and RWD by the end of the week?

I had a great time! It was fun to plant peoples faces in my windshield, contribute to the smokeshow, hang out.

And yes I broke my trans this weekend:

Apparently, it takes ~300whp to do that. If I had put anywhere close to 300 to the ground when I was at the dyno I would have been a lot more conservative with my 1-2 upshift hammer.

Thanks again everyone, it was a great time! Can't wait for next year. Already planning to take my SSEi to have Ryan help re-grease the AL7s and convoy with Penny and Ryan C and his 96 SSEi.



Edit: Somehow I still managed to miss a couple of cars. Mainly Kyle's because there was very little time where that car wasn't doing Mach 5. I know others have some more various pics, so it's ok.

Intense is holding their meet in June in Royal Oak, MI. Same area as last time. Also consider the Woodward dream cruise weekend.

Basically, assemble the convoy and head this way three times next year! :-)

Not sure when the meet will happen next year, but it will definitely have to be when it is warmer outside so tents can be used as the new house is a little smaller. I figure a planning thread will be posted late winter / early spring to start getting some details worked out.

This overall was one of the biggest meets as far as member attendance I have hosted, not by much, but maybe two or three people. It was an amazing time and I had a blast! Thanks to all who came out

Yes it is. I didn't hear Kyle grip until somewhere in fourth gear. And I let off around the top of third.

I didn't really take any pics

I did manage to install my subframe connectors on the G8, but snapped a rear cradle bolt when trying to do the poly cradle insert bushings. Limped the car home (drove fine) and the rest of the removal happens now. I hate Loctite!!

My pictures are up on facebook already, but as mentioned earlier, I also didn't feel like dealing with photobucket's crap the other night. I'll get 'em up this evening most likely!

In other news, I got home last night around 2am. Dreading going into work, I went in this morning to discover my co-worker was let go and I got an 18% raise. What a way to come back from vacation!

Might have to go next time. The convertible will be a great photography platform with the top down. Hopefully it will be tuned by this time next year and it'll be able to keep up and if not pass most of the cars there.

It'll pass the SSEi now, and I'm better off not knowing if it would touch the GXP, at least not until I do cam and headers...
