agreed. I topswapped and love it. The parts cost probably around $500. Although my mods are mild having decent power on a FWD car is really kind of a pain in the ass. I can't imagine how annoying it would be with 400+ whp. Turbo requires a lot of custom fab and custom tuning that I don't think any of aforementioned parties are up for. On these cars, the S/C is the most reliable way to make power.

Don't get me wrong. I love superchargers but turbo's are just different to me. Always loved spooling over whining. Seeing that video and seeing the turbo kit on ZZP's website gave me temptations and made me wonder a little bit. I didn't mean to start a debate!

It's easier to do this stuff than you think even though it seems daunting at the beginning, the hard part is the moneys (and by extension the tools you have to buy) and time you have to devote to it. Having a kit available makes it easier.
It might cost more than you can get from selling the car to somebody else, but I believe that the value of the car is what you get out of it by driving it. If you have the ability to do something, I say why not?

Why the hell not? Its no more custom tuning than a built L67. Not much custom work to make it fit and you can get a used kit on clubgp for stupid cheap nowadays. Saw a nice one for 1600 yesterday. If I had the money I would definitely Turbo. But top swap is much easier, cheaper, and with what I'm planning, more reliable.

I wouldn't top swap if I were you, compression ratio ain't right...along with weaker internals. You'll want a complete motor swap.
