Well the other day my Cruise stopped working. I have pulled the plug off the unit in the engine bay, and there is power on some of the termials on that plug, checked fuses and don't see any blown. The same time this stopped I lost all the dash lights and that was a blown fuse. It has been replaced but cruise is still dead. I know in the old days the common cause was a broken wire on the turn signal arm. Is still the issue or how do I check the unit out???? Any help would be great.

The cruise control circuit is pretty complicated but start with fuse 14 under the hood. Most of the vehicle data from the PCM and IPC go to the CC module. The switch on the stalk has a pink wire running to it that you can see in the steering column harness. The pink wire comes from fuse 10 and is hot in On and Start. It also is spliced to the 2 pink wires from the brake light switch on the brake pedal bracket and also runs to the IPC. When you turn the cruise on, it has continuity with a gray wire that runs to the CC module connector A. With the switch on, when you press set/coast, there is continuity with the pink wire and the dark blue wire running to CCM terminal B, and with the switch on and R/A pressed, there is continuity with the pink wire and the gray/black wire running to CCM terminal C.
