Re: fuel injector
So I plan on cleaning my injectors this weekend. It would be safe to assume that I can follow the guidelines of removal and reinstallation above right?

Re: Halp!!!!
So it would be best to have a diagnostic ran first? Its my everyday driver so I would prefer not to be without it for an extended period of time.

Re: Halp!!!!
My apologies with the mix up between the sub forums, and thank you for moving to the correct location.
Should I go a head and replace the injector or get it cleaned? And do you think it would fix the issue?

Halp!!!!
So my car has a fairly irritating issue that only happens at running temperature (keep that in mind.) As from my early post a month or so ago I have cleaned my throttle body (twice) spark plugs are a year old, spark plug wires are two years old, ICM is two years old, fuel filter is six months old ...

Cleaning out the Throttle Body on a 2002SLE
I've got a 2002 Bonneville SLE that like to idle roughly and whenever i get on the gas it like to hesitate. I'm thinking its the throttle body due to some of the reviews I've heard from the people I've talked to. Anybody have a forum thread i can consult? Preferably with pictures or a detailed ...

Spark Knock?
So I gutted my airbox and put in a Spectre high flow reusable air filter alright? Well my car was perfectly fine until I replaced all my spark plugs with NGK Iridium core plugs. After that my car started knocking a little bit at idle. Well it's just at idle and if I give it a little gas it stops and ...

Air Boxes, gutting and replacement
I'm sure there's a millon threads out there but; how would one go about gutting the air box, or does anyone know a site where I can buy an after market one? I checked KnM but all they had when I searched 2002 Bonneville was oil and air filters

Re: Ignition Control Module
ICM just distributes spark to the coil packs which sends spark through the plug wires and to the plugs themselves. Surging going up hill sounds more of a throttle problem

Re: I want to mod my car...
I've changed oil, spark plugs and wires, coolant, and my starter. Other than that I haven't done much more maintenance. I just want to get from 0-60 a bit faster, thats it lol

Need help cleaning carpets
So I've been meaning to clean the interior carpets on my 02 Bonnie for a while. But over this past weekend we had the bi-annual races at Bristol Motor Speedway. During this time I was taking some diesel to my work to put into the generator running the ice trailer parked outside. During this time I ...

Re: Starter
I haven't seen any but I'll double check. I tried to start the car but I got a cranking noise then nothing. I think the battery's dead because I took a voltmeter to measure the DC volts and it said 10.2 and I only tried to turn the car on 3 times...idk this is getting fustrating

Re: Starter
Alright guys. I got the starter taken off, it was completely rusted over and the solenoid connections were in poor shape. But I've got some issues and worries I'd like to get opinions on.
1. When I put in the new starter I pushed it all the way up and both bolt holes were lined up is that right?

Re: Starter
I pulled off the entire starter housing and solenoid and bother were completely rusted over. I tilted the housing a little bit in the process of removal and one of the lids fell out and so did some of the gears. On the solenoid the grounds were rusted and starting to fall off.

Re: Starter
I had the battery checked and they said it was fine and charged it.. I'm going to get the starter tested when I get it taken off today. It was slow cranking for a few days after I got the ICM replaced and finally quit.

Well it tried a few times until the battery died. No I didn't try tapping it the starter while cranking the engine.
