Re: No Sound Output from Aftermarket Head
I would (with quite a few years of electronics experience) guess that the headunits output has expired. Highly unlikely that all the speakers would quit at the same time.

Might be 2 screws under the arm rest lid and it should just pop up. They are usually held in with clips on GM cars.

Re: Brake problems...
Before my Bonne finally died I had to replace two of the lines that go from the MC to the ABS module. Even doing that I did not have to go through the scan tool bleeding procedure. Id be shocked if opening a bleeder screw would cause you you have to scan bleed the ABS module. It is possible but I ...

Re: Brake problems...
I would inspect that "stubborn" caliper more. Maybe you blew the seal on that one trying to compress it. That is about the only thing that I see would cause your soft pedal problem after just a pad change.

Yep, I had the same exact issue. I think they just put the heavy springs on the QS incase you have the V8 Bonneville and that will make you V6 sit higher and cause the vibration you are having.

Re: Garbage Reception
Have you checked to make sure the little button type connector that plugs the antenna into the wire is not corroded or even actually plugged in? It also could be loose. Other than that maybe the in windshield antenna some how broke (maybe from sun exposure) total guess there but ya never know.

Re: 2002 ssei passkey security issue
Pretty sure pass-key or passlock both disable the fuel injectors, car should still crank if I recall correctly. I worked at a couple local shops from 1995-2001 installing remote starts and have done MANY GM cars.

Do you have a picture? I believe it is a 2 knob style radio right?
If so you remove (by pulling out on) the 2 knobs.
The shafts where the knobs came off of should have a nut on them, this holds the front of the radio into the dash. There may or may not be a brace mounted in the rear of the radio ...

Re: I'm new here and could use some help!
Dont use a vacuum on your gas tank. It causes static and that could be bad for fuel fumes. Also I wouldnt use water in my gas tank either. If you must clean it they either make chemicals to do that or just wipe up as much as you can. As for the Oil sensor I just used what ever the local autoparts ...

Re: Looks like its time to let go of the Bonneville
I dont have the proper area to keep the car while parting it out. The town would be down my neck about that...what I can do is keep those when the time comes to send it to the crusher and let you know
