I have a steady drip from one of the two lines that run from the tranny to the radiator. Connection into the trans case seems very loose. Is this normal or can it be tightened ? Any issues if I try to replace these lines, ie bleeding req'd, etc. Also, how are the lines attached into the case ? 2005 ...

thanks, good clear information. FYI - I checked my 05 SE (162k miles) which has been outside most of its life and no signs of water in the cavity or any rust. I will go ahead and put in some rust inhibitor and seal with silicone as you suggest however.

any suggestions on how to restore the "chrome" strips on each door above the cladding ? I've tried alum/chrome paint which works for awhile but soon looks bad again. are replacements available ?

problem turned out to be the plastic elbows located on the engine. fixed the problem but I still don't know what really caused the "sloshing sound"

05 Bonneville SE with 150k miles. hear sloushing sound inside of dash, smell coolant, and coolant reservoir is low. No moisture noted, yet, inside. Heater core ?
