transmission coolant line

Post by cjramsey »

I have a steady drip from one of the two lines that run from the tranny to the radiator. Connection into the trans case seems very loose. Is this normal or can it be tightened ? Any issues if I try to replace these lines, ie bleeding req'd, etc. Also, how are the lines attached into the case ? 2005 Bonneville SE, 165k miles.

I beleave they are a quick connection that will most likely need replaced. Should be a dorman part at the parts store.

Would be a good time to change fluid while your messing with it.

I see how it works now, thanks for the tip. I was expecting something much more complicated.
