Getting closer! I swear everything is trying to plot against me attending. But I am determined! Ain't nothing going to hold me back! lol. excellent point, Bill. I would have never thought of thought, one of those things you just know, but don't take into everyday consideration. :hail:
I will read the other link that you posted, but do you remember what those vents are off of? Again, I will read the other link too, may just be ...

What you have done, with the trans-am ram air scoops is actually exaclty what I have wanted to do with the 94, but am not sure how it will look. But that was what I was going to try to do originally. :)
If I can't do that, I may just wait and do the ones like Bill has done on Zilla, those do ...

Need advice on lick-stick scoops...
Hey all, I am looking to do some sort of lick and stick (probably Lund) scoops for Black Beauty, and am just looking to get suggestions. I am going to make them functional to bring a little extra air by cutting out the fake front grilles on them and then cutting a hole in the hood under the scoops ...

Re: Hit a Deer on my Way Home Last Night!
I have hit several deer on the roads, mostly in my company provided suburbans. Still, it is never fun. However, I am glad you are okay, with how the hood sits on those newer Bonnies, you were VERY lucky it didn't come through the windshield.
On another note, my last suburban from work had a head ...

Aren't the corners on our GM's all colored plastic? i believe I have seen a few of them broken and don't recall seeing any film or a second plate of color in the lens. I could be wrong, it has been known to happen before. Have you checked ebay?

Re: What can be done in a week's time?
funny thing about that, Bill...I was kinda thinking the same thing with my tanny. Although it does shift and run just fine, it does have 160K on the ticker. And I know it hasn't been replaced since at least 50K (when the previous owner bought it), so I have reason to believe it is the orginal. My ...

Re: Differences in speedo's
Well, if work doesn't call me for another friggin' Spokane, WA to Whitefish, MT run today, maybe I will play around a little bit out on the freeway and see which of the two is actually the more accurate, though I tend to lean towords the HUD. As mentioned by a few ppl, the HUD does have less ...

Re: Differences in speedo's
The HUD can't be more than 1-2mph off at 65mph by the way it works. That signal is coming from the reluctor wheel which is part of the differential. It counts pulses per mile and displays them in their pure form.

Differences in speedo's
My HUD display for my 94 SSEi gives me two different speeds...at 35 on the dash, I show around 38 on the HUD, and it climbs from there. My question is, which friggen one do I believe? At 70, the difference is almost 8 MPH, definately enough to get a ticket with. Any information would be greatly ...

Re: Top Speed
My HUD is within 1mph of my GPS over 140. ;)
Yes, aero drag plays a huge factor the faster you go. Weight of the car and hp/tq/gearing mean less and less the faster you go, and it's a logarithmic function.
i thought GPSs were notorious for being off for mph?
i know for a fact you can't used them ...
