Re: Vent valve
Its my 98 ssei and its the valve that connects to the canister,it has a 2 wire connection to it.It is part of the evap system. You have the purge solenoid, vent valve and the canister. Its the vent valve that not one parts store seems to have.

Re: OEM sparks plugs vs. NGK

Re: 93' Bonneville SSEI Smoking and running rough
93 octane cost more but your mpg will go up so in the long run it all comes out the same in the end plus your car will run better..

Re: OEM sparks plugs vs. NGK
You know I first put in platium plugs a few months ago and then reading in here that I should not use them in a sc motor I went to get ngk 55s but because advanced auto only had 5 of them I went instead with champion copper plugs..Not a problem with them what so ever. But still wanted to try the ngks ...

Re: EGR VALVE
The plugs are new and so are the wires.About a week ago I was getting a p0401 code(Insufficient EGR Flow)plus a p0306 code(Cylinder 6 Six Misfire)So because of the p0401 code I took the egr valve off of my 95 bonneville and put on the 98 and the codes went away till today. Not getting the p0401 but ...

Re: Can't disengage traction control ???

Re: EGR VALVE
Yes I did read that I just couldnt find anyone who tried it on a bonneville.
EGR VALVE
The other day I started getting a p0401 code(Insufficient EGR Flow)plus a p0306 code(Cylinder 6 Six Misfire). So after some reading I took off the ege valve, cleaned it put it back on and still got the same codes. So I decided I would take the one I had off my 95 bonneville and put it on my 98ssei.Have ...
