Re: GXP headlights arrived
ok....am i understanding this correctly? according to the candlepower's website, the 9011 (HIR1) bulbs are the same as the ones used in GXP's headlights and are a direct replacement bulb for the 9005 bulbs and will work in factory housings for SEs, SLEs, and SSEIs.

JMB Performance FWI
I've been kicking around the idea of buying one of these FWI's from JMB Performance to replace my homemade CAI. I was just wondering if anyone has used or knows anything about these JMB Performance FWI's?? A buddy has one installed on his GTP and he really likes it. I just love they way they look ...

Re: Quest for 11s on a $2000 budget
greyhare.....the $2000 was just a number that was pulled out of thin air that is part of the bet.
For more information of this build.....refer to my very first post.
Update: This bet is starting to look like it won't follow through because the guys who initially made the bet are now looking to ...

I see from your sig that you already have the ER rockers. I have heard of guys running both the ER rockers and the HV3 and seeing nice, noticable results.

Re: Quest for 11s on a $2000 budget
haha....I know this tranny is going to be put under some heavy abuse, but all it has to do is hold together for 1 run and a make at least a 11.99 pass and we win the bet.
Oh boy....keep you're fingers crossed.

Quest for 11s on a $2000 budget
Alright, I'm looking for helpful suggestions and ideas. Me and some of my fellow local car club buddys (Nebraska Club Grand Prix) have a friendly bet going with some guys from another local car club that absolutely have no respect for the GM 3800. These other guys believe that Grand Prix's and ...

Re: New flowmaster exhaust (video)
sounds good!
IMO...if you own a v8 truck, louder exhaust is a must. before i bought my bonne, i owned 2 dodge trucks. for both, the very first thing i would have done was had a glasspack installed along with some 3.5" x 18" chrome tips. i sure do miss that rumble!

Re: Pacesetters
IMO....although pacesetters are cheap, don't buy them! 2 of my friends put them on their GTP's and have had nothing but trouble with them because they won't seal properly.
but, i do know a few guys that spent a little more money and bought TOGs and just love them and and haven't had any problems.
