Re: Steering wheel hub adaptor
Yep I got that, but what is the size and tooth count of the column? I have a GM adapter but i'm not sure if its the right size. The one I got is 3/4" 36 tooth for GM, Buick, Pontiac, Chevy.

Re: Steering wheel hub adaptor
I'm trying to replace it. The OEM one is pretty worn and leaves sticky residue on my hands when driving.

Steering wheel hub adaptor
Hey guys. What's the size and tooth count, or what hub adapter did you use for 6 bolt steering wheels? I've found that gm typically uses 1/2" 36 tooth splines for their wheels.

How to lower your bonneville
Hi all. I've been looking around for some ways to give my Bonnie a much needed drop. The only problem is I can't find any springs that I know for a fact will fit. I just wanted to know if any of you guys have lowered your cars and if you have what springs did you use and where can I find them. Thanks

Re: Middle break light problem
I read somewhere else on the internet that it can be caused by break lights shorting out. So I thought it was that since I only recently noticed it and around the same time the lights started acting up. I also read that it can be caused by my alternator not putting out enough amps. Which would also ...

Re: Middle break light problem
I did all the work for everything except the head unit. I had my local shop do that. Even if the light isn't causing it, something is still wrong with it.

Middle break light problem
My headlights recently started "blinking" every time I pressed my brakes. I thought it was my middle brake light as it flashes erratically when I hit the brakes. I unplugged the center tail light and the blinking still occurs. What could be the problem? And also if that tail light is broken is there ...

My radio had the option to come with an adapter for it. I don't have steering wheel controls but I'm sure all you need is the adapter

Re: Alternator/engine whine through tweeters
Just an update. I was messing around with the system and grounds again to see if I could finally resolve this problem. I couldn't. But I found a couple interesting things. I drilled a new hole and stripped the pain right next to my amp to try a different ground. It actually made it WORSE. D:< So I ...

Re: Alternator/engine whine through tweeters
I just completely took apart my head unit and found no such fuse. not to be discouraged I took the time to ground my alternator and run a new ground for my radio. the noise is still there. I'm at a complete loss here. I have done everything I can and it still persists. I have no idea what to do.

Re: Alternator/engine whine through tweeters
I just read that on some pioneer head units there is a little fuse in the unit that blows, and when it does it introduces this whine. Could that be the culprit?

Re: Alternator/engine whine through tweeters
I have a 4 way amp for all the speakers in the trunk mounted on the back wall. The ground goes under the seat to the battery. And then I have a bass amp in the middle right below the little hatch panel thing. they both ground to the same spot right along with the battery. my rca's are run on the ...

It's grounded right where the battery is.DCJREDLINE wrote:On the ground connections did you scrape the paint away and use a star washer to bite into the metal? Is it not grounded to the same spot as the battery right?

Re: Complete LED Conversion quiestion
Can I ask which ones you got for your bonneville?
I personally have the silverstar xenons with yellow fogs for when its snowing or raining. the xenon are a bright white and you also want to make sure you have clean headlights too.
