Turn signals stay on but hazards work
Hey guys, new problem. So I haven't driven my bonnie for a few months. I get in and go to use the turn signals and the lights stay on. I tried the flashers and they work fine so I don't think it's a bulb. Not sure if someone has some ideas.

Water in the left rear floorboard
Hi all, so after it rains I get a wet carpet on the left rear side of the vehicle. Any thoughts on how that occurs? I don't think my door seals are leaking. I'm wondering if it's the sunroof drain is plugged or loose. Any thoughts?

Hooking up a trans cooler fan.
Hi all, my trans is running hot so I just added a larger trans cooler with a fan. Any thoughts on where I can hook up the power for the fan? I'd like it to run full time with the key on.

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
So I was able to put the 95 roller rockers on my 92 heads. I had to have the holes bored out slightly larger and got a set of bolts from McMaster Carr. It was a little tricky but I go them to work. I'll do a write up if anyone is interested.

Re: Series 1 Fuel Injector Options
Ok, we'll start with the 3.0 regulator. I have a 92 and a 95 engine in my garage right now. On a side note, thinking of running an extremely small pulley. I see I can get a 1.9" pulley. That would probably force a custom tune and larger injectors right?
BTW, engine is totally out of the car right ...

Re: Series 1 Fuel Injector Options
Ok, I'm running ported and port matched heads, polished the intake and running a Walbro fuel pump. Series 2 fuel injectors look like they are shaped differently. Do I need anything additional to add them?

So what do you make the heat shield out of normally? Any thoughts on a scoop for true ram air?

would this intercooler plate work for a Series 1?
So I found this air to air intercooler plate for a Holden Commedore in AU. Any thoughts on if this would fit a Series 1?

Series 1 Fuel Injector Options
Someone had probably asked this before but I can't find it. What options do I have for improved fuel injectors?

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
So what exactly does "bar" mean? Also, is it a simple connector change between S1 and S2 injectors? Just clip the old set off and splice the new set on?95naSTA wrote:@ 3 bar:
S2 L67 are 33 lb/hr (typically rated at 36 lb/hr but thats at 3.5 bar)
S2 L36 are 21 lb/hr
S1 L67 are 29 lb/hr

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
Yes it works great. I kinda wish I would have ordered the stroker kit he had. Such is life though. So I noticed in your tag you have you engine bored .040 over. What are your thought on moving to a larger set of injectors? Can we even get those now? Afterwards, where can you get a chip to "bring it ...

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
I think the name of the company was SeriesOne Performance. I went to look them up online, but don't see them anymore. It was quite awhile ago that I got it. (2006 or 2007 maybe?)
Their website was www.seriesoneperformance.com, but I don't see that it works anymore. Kinda disappointing because they ...

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
Thanks for the info on the tranny. I know now mot to worry about doing the 92 tranny and just focus on the 95. Anyone have any ideas on converters? Does a higher stall seem to work pretty well?

Re: Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
When I rebuilt it I bored it .010 over, ported and port-matched the heads and put on a high lift cam. I also ran a high flow fuel pump to it. It seemed to have quite a bit more power than stock. Unfortunately it shredded the tranny.

Difference between '92 and '95 SSEI
So I just bought a 95 SSEI and "conveniently" I have a modded 3800 S/C with 5K miles from a 92 SSEI. Any major differences between the engines and transmissions on the two vehicles? Any major issues you think I'll run into on the switch?

Got another SSEi a '95 this time
So, I'm on my second, well technically 3rd bonneville now. I got a 95 because it's supposed to have the better S/C. Since I have a built 3800 from my old '92 that is just sitting in my garage, it seems like a good swap. Let me know what you think!
