i had a pully making noise i ignored it,one day it was loud then no noise,i opened the hood and the tensioner pully blew the bearings and the serp belt snapped off,lucky for me i was in the drive way and not going down the highway,if it squeeks fix it,i payed 15 bucks for the pully wheel it is a 10 ...

got to look at the car today,when i turn the wheel the spring is moving about 1/4 of an inch and the noise i hear is the spring hitting the top of the wheel well,looks like it slid off the support on the top of the spring,round black plastic peice..any insight??

check the fuse,i had same problem fuse was blown.

ok,is that as far as it will go,do i have to worry about the car dropping down while i am driving?car still drives smooth no rattling or anything like that,i hit a couple bumps and it still felt normal.

i belive there is clips that hold them on from in the trunk,plug and play deal

bring it to mechanic they can fix it for you.......

i would replace it unless you want to run into all the problems i had in my 01,it is not fun.

i dont think it is the crank sensor,i replaced my ignition control module and has not stalled or missfire since, no more sluggish either.my mechanic told me the module's in gm are known to go bad,the crank sensor runs through the module,i was getting that code and a o2 sensor code since i fixed the ...

after 2 years of stalling,sluggish driving,rich fuel trims & miss-fires i found the problem to be the ignition control module,car now has full power and drives like a 3800 should,part was $130 but it makes the car run like a champ.just thought i would pass this along.

my car started some new sysmtoms last week,when i put the car in reverse or drive it has a really heavy vibration coming from the right side of the engine or almost sounds like a machine gun,the crank shaft sensor has been triggering engine light i sont know if this is what happens then ...

try smoke testing the engine and see if it is leaking near the injectors and on the corners,also check to see if there is some fluid around the corners or on the block.i had same issue with the smoke and missfire it was LIM.car runs fine ever since it was changed.

any one know what causes the gas gauge to go from empty to full to 1/4 to 1/2 to 3/4,while driving??
