I bought some new fuel line quick disconnect clips for the LeSabre, from autozone, that were supposed to fit the GM lines. I'm found that while they fit the line, they don't clip to the rib on the metal line, but do fit the nylon quick connect. The clips that shipped with the fuel filter I bought worked, so not sure what's going on?
This is the style of clip:

What random GM vehicle did you pull the disconnects off of? Seems like GM couldn't make up their mind with the fuel lines. Stock LeSabre has a quick connect fitting on one side, with the screw type on the other, earlier GM (Mine included) has quick connects on both sides, with the fuel filter by the passengers feet. I wonder if they did something different for the vehicle you raided parts from...

I bought some of those a while back for my LeSabre too and they didn't fit. I wound up having to use a Dorman fuel line repair kit that came with the new fitting. Not sure why some fit and others don't, but it's weird that we've both had that issue. We're you using these on the fuel rail? That's where mine didn't fit at.

Seems like the dorman clips just don't fit. The junk I salvaged from the junkyard fits, the new fuel filter clips fit, but the dorman parts do not. I'll be stopping by the dealer on Monday to try and find the right parts. Otherwise I'll be hitting up yet another junkyard or 7...
