Hey guys first post here and I need a little help. Here's a little background on the problem and what i've done to troubleshoot/fix it thus far.


It started out that my key wouldn't turn in the ignition. It would turn a tiny bit enough I could hear stuff start to come on.
Well I let my car sit for about a month because I didn't have the time to mess with it. Fast forward a month and I hop in and I finally get the key to turn, Had to jiggle it a little but it turns free now. Everything in the car comes on, lights, dash, radio, fuel pump etc when I turn the key to the "on" position, but it refused to start when I turn to the "start" position. My scan gauge isn't reading any codes.

First thing I checked was all the fuses and microrelays both under the hood and back seat they all checked out fine
Next I checked to make sure the battery wasn't dead, checked out fine
Took off the starter/solenoid got that tested at autozone and it worked just fine.

Were do I go from here?
If I'm leaving about any info you need let me know.

Could it be a bad ignition switch? If the key didn't turn, it sounds like the pins inside the switch wouldn't align right and would keep the key from turning. Maybe they are just stuck and wont move easy.

Well I took the whole ignition switch apart to see if i could see anything that stuck out at me and didn't see anything. Went ahead and cleaned off all the contacts, reinstalled and still nothing.

Could it be the secuirty preventing me from starting? When I turn the key to ON the check engine light/security light both come on and the info center above the cd player says service security.
I tried to follow the security realarm ( done it once before went I got my new pcm) but it doesnt seem to be working at all.

What leads on the ignition contacts would I have to jump to get her to turn over? ill take a picture when I get the chance of what im talking about
