So this weekend im going to get the suspension freshened up a little bit. I have KYB SR1002 rear shocks, Moog K5341 shock mounts, Energy Suspension sway bar links 9.8120R for front and rear (per the search on the forum) all ready to go in. Anything else i should do while im in there? The Tie rods, Ball joints and the suspension all looked to be in good shape when i got it about 10K ago and i had new tires and alignment done shortly after purchase. I see there is a rear lower control arm bushing kit out there, i dont know if its common for thoes to fail, Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
S

Just moving around the parking lot it already feel much firmer. i cant wait to get it out and drive it. might have to do the fronts now, if the rears are as firm as they feel initally the 145K mile fronts are need of attention.

KYB SR1002 installed:

definatly feels a bit more crisp. The KYB's are definatly much firmer then the stock (leaking) shocks. If your looking for a firmer feel, they kyb's definatly do the trick. id imagine the Monroe Air max shocks will be a bit softer, i think thoes are the ones i did no my moms Lesabre back a few years ago. These definatly give it that "PONTIAC" driving excitment feel they advertised when it was new lol. If your looking for the smooth buick ride, don't think these are the shocks for you. Hope this helps someones decission at some point.
