The motor runs nothing is binding roof will not pop or open. I have been trying to find a way to remove the roof liner safely so i don't damage it and i cant find a step by step. Love the car but i am getting water inside possible drainage issue and spring is coming need the roof for personal joy.. please advise :helpsmilie:

I could give you the FSM directions, but its really not that hard once you just start doing it.

Remove the A, B & C pillar trim pieces. Pulling the top of the weatherstripping down will make it easier also. Remove the 3 grab handles. Remove the visors and clips.

The rear of the headliner is held on with magnets to keep it up. Other than that, it should just fall right down.

Removing it out the back door with the rear seat bottom removed is probably your best bet. You will have to bow it slightly to get it out.

Well thanks for the instructions they were right on the money. Unfortunatly the track is broken and thats why it doesnt work after cleaning the drains (broken plastic pieces jammed in) it stopped leaking the swimming pools in the back of the car so i am happy over that. You win some you lose some. But thanks for the help

search car-part.com for sunroof and your year. they are relatively inexpensive. just don't put the headliner back in till you replace the track.

or post your location and some here will search for a local source for you

We bought a sunroof out of a Cadillac and it was the same as the Bonneville.
