I was charmed to see this on facebook when I got home tonight. I was just happy that the track photographer captured a pic of the boat.

Yeah, I have a wheel speed sensor out.

Most people think it's a park ave. They look completely different to me, but people are confusing I guess.

I loves me a l67 LeSabre! FWIW, I don't confuse PA's with LeSabres.

No headers?

Only the ford guys confuse em.

No headers quite yet. My list of priorities for this winter are headers, built trans, intercooler, and dropping pulleys. It's definitely starting to feel slow, so hopefully I can make some good progress. Props, BTW. I love your LeSabre and can't wait to see what happens with the new project. I only wish my car weighed as much as an '86, and not it's current 3550.

Looked at this thread a little while back, and I was completely impressed. That is a very mean LeSabre - I'd love to see some video of that car in action.

I've now seen 3 generations of blown LeSabre's: your 2000, a 1993 (S1 L67) of someone I used to know (a long while back), and MattStrike's 1986 (which is a shame that it was lost).

Can't wait to see the progress!

I have a few videos that would be frowned upon by the community, but here's some safe ones.

Here's an exhaust clip. Catless downpipe-stock resonator-thrush turbo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0BNcFyi8tQ

Here's a little 0-60 vid. It was a little chilly, so I was pedaling it through first. lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dB8exZ2LpD4

And a more pictures to show off.

The pit guy lined me up next to a 16 second taurus with the assumption that it would be a good race.

I'll definitely keep you guys updated on major stuff. I'm not rich or anything, but I'm going to try to do a transmission, headers, pulley down, more supporting mods, maybe an intercooler this winter.

Mmm. Gotta love a successful top swap. Definitely get headers on there ASAP. She'll love you for it.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm in Plymouth. Schmidt Lake/494 area. Depending on the day, you might see me in Wayzata, Plymouth, St. Michael, and Rogers.

Ah nice. Busy Sunday? Sounds like we're having a meet here in St. Cloud.

I'm not busy, and I'd love to attend a meet and get to know some members. What are the details?

Hockey puck mod was done today. I didn't do a strut tower bushing, but it worked out pretty well. It vibrates a little, but the power transition is so smooth! I should have done that earlier. I think mid-14s are definitely doable as the car sits.

Awesome! I was so happy with the feel of my car after I did the hockey puck mount. I wondered myself why it took me four years to do it.

Yeah, aside from the supercharger it's definitely the best mod yet. My street test with a 5.9 grand cherokee  is hopefully a good indication of how it will do at the track next time.

That is a very nice looking Buick. I always loved the interior of those cars! The gauge cluster for some reason especially.

The meet is Sunday in St. Cloud, at Munsinger Gardens.

On this map, below University Dr. you can see a building and a parking lot, we'll be meeting up there.

Thanks. Yeah, I love it. It's got a metric button which I love too. Converts all the gauges, and changes the speedo to km/h. It's a funny option.

Sounds good. I'm racing in the morning, and I'll come by after.

Yeah my Bonneville has the same option, and so does my fiance's Grand Prix. I like to freak out my passengers by switching it sometimes when they are not looking! hehe...
