Does anyone know how much interior items from say a 2002 will fit in a 96 SE? not talking dash just stuff like door panels and seats. Stuff like that. Thanks in advance!

Not 100% positive, but I believe only items from a 92-99 h body will work as a bolt in item, the newer stuff would probably require fab work to make fit, but someone with both a 92-99 and an 00+ will have to verify that.

I'd say the shift knob and MAYBE the front seats but I don't think anything else if that.

Nothing is interchangeable. seats could possibly be made to fit with fab work. Door panels will definitely not fit.

Seats would need a total re-fab of the brackets, along with adding wiring. Nothing else would remotely work.

Thanks everyone. I kind of figured this would be the case especially with the door panels. Just had access to all the interior from a newer one if I wanted it and it was all nice stuff. I appreciate all the info!

You can add the shifter which is much better than the 92-99 one. Everything else is very different, the cars were almost completely redesigned for the new millennium.
