I need to replace the damaged front bumper cover on my 2005 Bonneville se. I found a used one for $100 but it is on a 2002 Bonneville and I believe it is an SSE model because the fog lights are closer to center than my 2005 SE.

Will this 2002 SSE front bumper cover be a direct replacement for my 2005 SE?

Is the removal and installation easy and is there anything I should get from the replacement Bonneville other than the cover itself?

Can someone tell me the repaint procedures to paint the bumper cover?

Physically the cover will fit, you will need the front splash guard underneath it as well and possibly the inner fender plastic attached to the bumper. For the fog lights you will have to extend the wiring harness to reach the fog lights.

2000 and 2001 SE are the same with chrome strips around the bumpers.
2002 - 2005 SE are the same with no chrome strips but still fogs to the outside.
2000 - 2004 SLE and 2000 -2003 SSEi share the same bumpers and side molding.
2004 and 2005 GXP as well as 2005 SLE share the same bumpers and side molding.

All of the above will physically fit on your car using the same factory holes already there, but as mentioned you will need the additional splash guards and to extend the fog light wiring.

How will the side molding match my 2005 SE? Sounds like it will stand out and not match the rest of the car?
