I do drive it down the road to the country store all the time! Admins feel free to move is necessary

My 1948 Farmall Super A.
113 CiD inline 4
Max RPMs 1540 (rated at 1400)
6 volt positive ground with a magneto ignition
Top speed: 10MPH
13HP (16 at the PTO) but dat torque doe

I've rebuilt the top end of the engine. Cylinder head really. valve, pushrods, ect. ect. Changed the bearings in the transmission and replaced the hydraulic pump. Mechanical work is a drug for me (as it probably is for many of you), and this 65+ year old machine provides plenty.

Now If only it would snow to justify me playing around now that I've run out of things to work on for the season....

That's sharp! I've never heard of a Super A. Plenty of M's, H's, and Cubs in this area. I worked on an H this summer, got it running after 15+ years so the guy could sell it. It was put away wet and all it needed was a battery, generator, plugs, and a carb cleaning. Dependable stuff, that's for sure. My grandpa bought this '36 "A" in the 50's.

Definitely counts!

The "Super" line of Farmall was in the mid-50's, when they bumped the HP and made small changes. Wasn't a whole lot different, just changing things up.

We have a Farmall H, John Deere A and a bunch of other old tractors.

JDB, I think it's funny, your A has the same thing ours had, that the rear wheels were converted from steel wheels to rubber tires, and all they did was cut the spokes down, stick the whole thing in a rim, then use the extra spoke material on the outside, theoretically to add strength. My dad got his A as payment for work, then restored it in 78-79 as a HS project. Now it needs some work again, and a freshening up.
