Leather seat inserts cleaner?

Any ideas on what to use to clean the suede inserts on the seats?

What are they stained/soiled with?

Sounds a little crazy but... Following my recent OnStar upgrade I noticed that the dealership also gave me a complimentary set of greasy hand prints on my rear suede inserts. I took it to my detailer and he used ACDelco foaming glass cleaner. Worked like a charm! Saturate the affected area(s), let it sit for about 10 seconds and rub briskly until dry with a clean towel. Repeat if necessary.

A 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar works good too.

I can't say for the GXP upholstery, but just plain cold clear clean water has always cleaned up everything for me on all my upholstery. I just absolutely flood the fabric. It will even take out iodine if it hasn't dried. - BC

I used a little Joy to make some warm sudsy water and
then used a soft scrub brush. It worked for whatever food, candy,
and drinks my kids spilled on them.

As for the actual smooth leather, the guys who sold me new leather
skins for my Tahoe front seat told me to clean the other seats with
Scrubbing Bubbles foam bath cleaner and a soft brush to make them
clean enough to match the new leather seat. They weren't lying, it worked.
