Do/ did you have them on your vehicles year round? Did you have any issues driving thru deep snow or going thru car washes with high pressure underbody spray? I have FWI waiting to go on but am worried about the filter sucking in snow and water during the winter months when I use touchless automatic car washes alot and drive in snowy conditions. I was just going to wait until spring to install since I almost always handwash when there isn’t snow on the ground but I’m getting sick of staring at it in the garage and kind of really want to put it on haha.

My car has no lower splash shield because it fell off the highway. You can literally crouch down and grab my K&N. I've gone through puddles, 2 foot high snow, you name it. No issues at all. I don't think the motor is moving enough air at idle or slightly above to even suck water in.. If you go in so deep that the whole filter is submerged then the car will simply stall.

I can't comment on snow since we never get any here, but we do get a ton of rain and I've never had any trouble with my intake. I think you'll be okay as long as you aren't submerging the entire cone in a puddle of water haha. My physics side is wanting to say with the snow being still frozen, it's not going to produce enough water on the filter to be a problem, but I'll let the Northern side of the club comment further

drove mine in Massachusetts weather for years year round with no problem. even gone through good size puddles. eventually went back to stock when I was cleaning and was beyond cleaning, instead of another $75 filter.

I had no issues in the same weather you're in now. Avoid deep standing water and you'll be fine.

No problems here at all with mine.
