You sure about that Pat? I thought only the GXP's had coolant level sensors. I know for a fact that the SLE/SSEi's dont. I haven't parted out any SE's though.

I don't think you have one, but on my aftermarket radiator there's a hole I had to plug for the sensor if it were equipped that was behind the passenger headlight.

Ya must be Grand Prix.

Travis, if you need to know, just go and look at your radiator. If it has an electrical plug going to it, then you do... but I doubt you do. The aftermarket ones come with a hole for them, but you can leave that hole plugged.

Geeze! Sure thought it would but then remembered not seeing it when test driving the car and it was low due to intake leak. 96 G Am SE had one in the recovery tank. Guess they got tired of people complaining about the light when their intakes started leaking.

We're talking 2k-up here. The pre-2k models did have a low coolant sensor if you were SSE/SSEi. Starting in 2000, none of them came with it, then in 2004 the GXP included it for one reason or another.

My low coolant sensor has started giving a constant false warning in an 05 GXP, apparently it's a common problem that the only fix is to put a completely new reservoir in. It sure seems like Mr. Goodwrench really likes keeping us bent over his bench ! I may just research a disable route for this irritation. :banghead:

My 1997 PA with the NA 3800 has a low coolant sensor. Ive seen it in action before ;) before I replaced the black plastic elbows with the metal ones.
