Sudden MPG Drop

Hi Guys & Gals,

I have a 2002 SE with 210,000 miles and have owned it since it had 50,000 miles on it. This car has always always always averaged 28-30mpg. However, about 6 months ago every tank began averaging 18-20mpg, hand calculated of course, and continues to be that way. Car is throwing no codes, I have checked MAP, MAF, EGR, and plugs and wires were replaced at 200,000, and everything appears to be up to snuff. For the most part the car runs as normal; the only non-normal indication is that under slightly harder than normal acceleration from a rolling start it will bog down slightly. I am looking for any advice on what you think may be causing this?

Thanks

Tuneup items (plugs, wires ect)
Dirty MAF
Vac Leak

are the things i would investigate 1st. do you have a scanner of any sort? your LTFT's will tell you alot, should see +/- 2-3%.. anything over that will indicate a issue.

maybe clogged fuel injectors or fuel filter. I guess that could be covered in the above "tune up items"

Check your tire pressure. The warning won't come on the dash
if they are all around the same lowness (word?) in pressure.

That shouldn't have happened suddenly however, unless a huge weather change
or something.
