That bonne is also a 485 whp twin charged monster that justifies using a 4t80.

92 Olds 98. L67, Gen 3 M62, 2.55 pulley, FWI, PLIM, 1.8 YTs.

Yes, and if I remember right, it took him quite a LOT of work to get that running and a lot of time spent. I remember him starting on the project on one of these forums, forgot where he posted. Very interesting setup indeed being super and turbocharged.

Awesome car!
Looks like lots of fun.
BUT, it's still wrong wheel drive. (Somebody had to say it)

It was also one of the first 3800s to have headgasket problems. LOL!

Re: 96 Bonnebville with 4T80E swap.
I think Hot Rod magazine (or some other similar publication) actually did a RWD, LT1-powered '93 SSEi in the 90's. I've been looking for the article but it doesn't seem to be anywhere on the interwebs. One important detail though - the swap was more or less a Bonneville body on a Impala SS chassis.ChilinMichael wrote:YOU convert an H-body to RWD. Go ahead.

Burnouts dont impress me anymore. Waste of rubber and fuel.
Any vids of it at the track?

The burn out is also a display of the lsd. Maybe more so for that than a display of the power.
