2000 ssei bonneville Trany has no gears

It has no gears untell I turn engin off & restart . I thought it was the tcc checked almost everything that might cause tcc stick on can someone help

Have you checked your fluid...both level and color?

Yes I have kind of discolord but not to bad ..i did a fulid & filter swap & still same .... DTCs u 1064 ,p0103,102

I will b driving down road & the trany just goes away then i cycle the ing 3 times & it's back can drive about 1/4 mile then it does it again my tech tool 2 says class 2 com loss with BCM ,TCC stuck on ,high & low input maf? To much to put all @ once but i can answer ?s ........ It all started after i hit a 8x10 beam on freeway ...........

SO you have you checked for damage underneath the car yet??......If the pump looses pressure the Trans will feel like it has no movement. if There is a Issue with either the Filter or any part that sucks fluid out of the pan, the car will exhibit the "No Gears" feeling

This has been going on with no change for over a year?

Yes I've checked for damage nothing visible ..... Yes it's been over a year that it's been doing this .... It all started about 2-3 months after impact ...... The shop says if i replace trany it will fix it but they want like 2800-3500 to dip it & i don't have that kind of $ i have another trany same year & same plug same trany diff car does that matter u think but the shop wants a brand new one if u have a email address or can i post video on theard i will send video of car if u don't mind

The difference is that this is a forum board, not chat. Complete words, punctuation and complete information on what has and has not been done goes a long way toward having your problem understood. If it's not, you'll get either improper information, or people will move on to other threads.

Had the pan ever been dropped to change the fluid and filter?

Yes & the little o ring was there and no magnet had nothing on it

Have you looked VERY close underneath for any damage? Not just damage to the pan, but look at all of the lines from the transmission to the radiator and back, of those are pinched or dented that could also cause an issue.

How soon after you hit the beam did the issue start? Immediately or within a week or so? Was there any issues at all even small issues before?

Yes & i didn't see any but i did change radiator out it had acrack in water tank & i do have a small leak from somewhere not a lot though . It drops a few drops about every 4-5 days i think it's from Axel on passenger side but not positive. It started about 4-5 months later. the only thing that i can think of problem wise was AC vents didnt work right &parking mirror didn't move & small evap leak when i got the car.

If it didn't start until 4 or 5 months later then I would think that would rule out the beam as the cause of the issue.

Ok so what do u think it could be ? I have another tranny should i swap it out & see what happens ? I don't want to but if it fixes it that would be great. Or should i check outher things i have a GM tech 2 tool?
