Having an issue I can not solve.

3 out 4 times of driving the car the blower motor will not come on, if you leave it on after about 20minutes of driving it will start working. I have checked all the connections I can find with no luck.

ALSO when accelerating the Main vents stop blowing air and you can feel it coming out the floor vents, when you let off the gas the main vents start working again.

Get your alternator and battery tested.

Check for air flow out the defroster as the main direction with some out the heater. That indicates there's not enough vacuum and the default is being used which is defroster for safety.

If that's the case, look for a leaking vacuum line between the intake manifold connection next to the brake booster hose, at the plastic bottle for vacuum reserve under the fender behind the headlight, and at the connectors with the T and the one-way valve in the bundle of wires close to the accumulator for the AC under the hood. The connectors at the ends can deteriorate and leak.

The vaccum hose was cracked just before entering the firewall on the passenger side- FIXED air stays on when accelerating.

Got Alternator and Battery checked- 100% no issue.

I have discovered that if the Blower does not come on after starting car opening and closing the drivers side door will usually get the blower working again.

If there anything on the drivers side that I should check ?

The next time it stops running or will not come on, tap the blower motor. I am suspecting you have a bad blower.

I have removed the blower and checked it, checked the connector- When the blower is not working there is no voltage at the blower.

Its seems the only thing wrong with the car is the blower, knocks on wood-

For 260k + miles she runs like a top.
