A hogan DP that bolts right in the place of the stocker is $140 and is an excellent performance upgrade, otherwise haro probably has a stock one for $50 or so.

Great, I will let Haro chime in but thanks for the info! Mine didn't look like it had a bubble in the middle though??

It is up close to the flange for the rear manifold.

I believe so...the muffler guy was trying to figure out where it was coming from and that is what he thought. That is was up high towards where it connects to the manifold.

The flex joint is right after the flange to the rear manifold. They can get a leak there. There is also a steel gasket at that flange. Might want to put an ad in the wanted area to get more attention.

What did they do to check the cat?

To check they drilled a couple of holes and put some type of monitor or camera in it to check it then tacked it back closed.
Not quite sure about the MAF question...it is where it is suppose to be! And was just replaced a couple of months ago!

A few things to look at.

Pull the plugs and check the gaps and condition. Make sure all the plug wires are in good condition and not touching anything. Do you have any sort of scanner? I would like to see how the TPS (throttle position sensor) is acting. How about a spare ICM or coils?

Which plug wires are you running? If they are a set of cheap ones, you might want to replace them.

Also do the spray test at night. Get the car to where it is running like this and then spray a mist of water around the plug wires and ignition coils and look for an arc from the wires and coils.

The only things throwing me off is that it runs fine when cold. A warm issue leads to things like the crank sensor, ICM or cat. This is where a scanner would come in real handy to see some data.

Unfortunately I do not have a scanner...really, really want one but no budget for it! I don't have spare coils or or ICM either. Will give it the spray test tonight. My gut tells me it is a fuel issue because it also runs really crappy when, from a stop, you just barely touch the gas, it misses and bucks until you give a little bit more gas!! Fuel filter possibly or could be my injectors are a but plugged. I don't use the best gas and should be using a fuel additive to help keep things cleaned up but I haven't. Hope this helps!!

Replace the fuel filter, it's a 20 minute job.
