A question for those sittin on 20"
I'm looking to get some new shoes for the Bonnie when my income tax comes in and I'm debating between some 18's or 20's. I mean I really like the look of our cars on dubs but I want to keep the racing/sport factor. Which has me leaning towards the 18's. Anyone want to try to convince me otherwise?

Re: A question for those sittin on 20"
Well, as far as the racing / sport factor goes, a Bonneville isn't a race car and really can't even pretend to be. Sport though, we can sort of do that. I honestly would stick with a set of 18s on anything '92 - '99. I have seen some with 20"s and they just seem way to big on that gen. Not to mention that you would constantly have to be dodging every single little pot hole you found.
I say stick with some nice 18"s

Re: A question for those sittin on 20"
You know what I always wanted to do is 18's in the front 19's in the rear staggered. Even though our cars are not rear wheel drive I think it looks awesome. A lot of people do that on their BMW 740's. Right now I only have 18's on mine though.

If you want to keep the racing/sport factor, why are you even considering 20's? That's destroy what handling you have. Ride quality will be harsh, and it will harm cornering.

You'd be spending as much on wheels/tires as the car is worth, not a bad idea if you plan on tracking an 80's 3 series, but driving around a bonneville in town, seems a little out of proportion.

I honestly forgot all about your car. I guess it depends a lot on the style / color of the rims.

Kevin did you also have that 94 lifted.. or is that just what the rims did? I like that look a lot however I don't like how high the car sits.
