New guy

Post by jonxmartini »

Hi, I'm Jon.Well last week my ford "exploder" earned the right for its nickname and blew up, so that left me with no car for the remainder of that week and this week and probably some of next week. I'm buying my moms 2002 (i think) Bonneville off of her for 500 bucks plus finishing paying it off. I'm a ford guy and whats more is I'm more into 4x4 than cars. But desperate times mean that I'm now going to be driving a fwd boat of a car lol. I hope that by being here i can make it into a car that i enjoy driving.

You'll be amazed with what you can do with a 4 Door boat and a 3800

He** I've been modding on a Pontiac Transport... Some call it the Bonnevan.. But sadly the Bottom end is going( 176,000 miles of abuse, I am actually not happy about this )... But now I have the excuse to go to a Series II 3800 and 3.33 gears...LOL

Welcome to the forum where Bonneville owners have Fords too

There are a series of Pics of our meets and in out meets there is always a for someplace... Heck my Buddies sons mustang is in front of mine receiving a new motor...LOL

Welcome to the Forum :beerchug:

Welcome to the club. You will soon, if not already, come to appreciate the ride and performance of a Bonneville.

BTW where do you live?

Yeah i wish i still had a 4x4 to play with...and I've driven my moms car (the one im buying) a few times and for the most part i like it..im not a huge fan of fwd but ill get use to it. I do love building something different and theres no built up bonnes around here so ill deffinitly enjoy being unique.

And I live in Southeastern New Hampshire just incase any one else is in the area
