00 SSEi Brake Rotors

Post by 2000Silverbullet »

Does anyone have a good source for quality Bauer drilled and slotted rotors?
What about the Brembo rotors?

I know Rod Rounds runs them.

The Bullet has developed a brake pulse I'm afraid, so this winter it's time to finally retire the originals after 35,000 miles.

I don't want to compromise by machining them true. [-X

Paul,
I paid about $250 for Cindy's Baer Front DecelaRotors 3 years ago, we have over 55,000 miles on them and they have not disappointed us at all. My pads last just as long as when I had the stock rotors and they work much better in the wet than the stock rotors. I don't have any cracks on the rotors after 3 years. You can look at Rock Auto for AC rotors if you want to keep the brakes GM(AC-DELCO Part # 18A1177 and ACDELCO Part # 18A1178). I don't know how good they are but if you like the looks of Cindy's rotors these might work for you(http://198.208.187.182/internet/PartIma ... br=18A1177), but if it was me I would get the Baer rotors again.

Thanks for the offer Alan. :)
Unfortunately I live on the other side of the water from Campbell River.

I also am very low on funds right now, so will wait a few months.

I like the looks of Cindy's rotors and the recommendation from Rod.
