New Here - 2000 SSEi

Post by flybrian »

Hello. I'm Brian and I'm new to this forum, but not to Bonnies, GM, or forums in general. Back in the day, I used to admin the Cheers and Gears GM forum. I'm currently in the car business as a dealer and in process of lovingly reconditioning my late father's 2000 Bonneville SSEi.

We bought this car new from Dick Norris Buick-Pontiac-GMC in Palm Harbor, FL back in August of 2001 as a leftever '00MY car. The imputes for buying it was trading up from a '98 Regal GS and keeping payments virtually identical. At the time, GMAC was running 0% APR for 60mo on remaining LeSabres, Park Avenues, and Bonnevilles, something that was unheard of at the time and - to quote the F&I guy - "you'll never see it this good again."

The next month, we all know what happened and what the auto industry did in response...

In any case, she now has 143k miles.

Look forward to bringing her back to showroom in memory of my father and enjoying it for years to come!
