Goodbye Bonneville. :(
Goodbye Bonneville. :(
A few weeks ago we found a new home for my wifes 2000 SSei. The first car she bought new. Honestly, it was a very good car. We were just shy of 200,000 miles when it drove off to it's new home. It seems we were lucky with it, didn't have some of the issues others have had. Never had any major engine issues, or transmission issues. Shouldn't say that, we did have the harsh shifting first to second on occasion with engine light. While changing valve cover gaskets a couple years ago I noticed the rubber vacuum 't' under the supercharger was broken. Replaced it and the harsh shifting went away. A couple front wheel bearings and a couple window regulators. And of coarse the normal brakes and tires. Not bad for our 18 year run. :(
