First thing that will make this much easier: Does anyone still make or have available headers for the 00-05 Bonneville?
So if headers are available, are the gains great enough to warrant the extra cost vs just getting the front powerlog made by zzperformance? Of course I'm getting the information that the biggest restriction is the front manifold from zzperformance's website, so maybe it's just marketing?
Thanks!

With the cost of the headers may as well get them instead. It's more of a flow mod than for power gains. They will flow better when you decide to pulley down making it safer to run more boost for example.
These are a popular option, (and yes they'll fit any 3800 1996 and up, not just the w body cars)

Re: Full header vs powerlog
PLOG won't flow as well as headers, but bolts in. With a mostly stock car, neither will make serious gains. If you has the moneys, don't bother with the plog, get the SD headers, and you'll have leftovers for a pulley down and/or cam or other mods.

Re: Full header vs powerlog
Thanks for the quick replies! The car already has a zzp down pipe and hi flow cat, will I be able to keep that if I go with something like the headers in haro1225's link?

Headers replace the downpipe and Cat.

Re: Full header vs powerlog
Thanks for the info! Would you happen to know if we have it so that the codes for the cat are removed in the tune will we still need the down stream o2 sensor?

I still have my sensor in and the code deleted since no cat. That being said I'm not sure if having it unplugged will set a different code.
